As of today, I have “checked in” to MyFitnessPal and logged my food/exercise for 60 days straight!
I’ve lifted 115,449.8 pounds at the gym.
I’ve run 6 miles at the gym and 19 miles outdoors.
I’ve lost 12 pounds. I’m a little more than halfway to my short-term goal (10% of total body weight– an amount which is supposed to help significantly with overall health and sleep apnea in particular).
Thanks, PK! I’ve done it before. This is the first time I’ve had an actual health crisis that might be resolved by it, though.
That’s a lot of days and lot of pounds!
That is some dogged persistence! Congrats on sticking it out and on the good results!
Thank you. So far, the big victories in my day-to-day life are:
1) I helped carry the wine cabinet upstairs last weekend and did not die.
2) I no longer do the little “ooph” rock to get up from being seated.
I remember when I was lifting … how much easier it was to just get out of bed.
My back pain has subsided, too. It’s not completely gone, especially when I spend all evening painting miniatures. But it’s less than before, and that’s good.
